The onboarding process at Hested Hoops is meticulously structured to ensure that all new trainers receive a well-rounded education in basketball training techniques, skill development, and business operations. As a new member of our team, you'll engage in a detailed shadowing program, participate in skill labs, and contribute to our community, all within the supportive environment of our Mankato gym.
Skill Lab Shadowing (15 hours): Immerse yourself in learning advanced training techniques, teaching methods, and basketball terminology by shadowing experienced trainers in our skill labs.
Personal Training Shadowing (15 hours): Gain firsthand experience in personal training sessions, observing and learning.
Open Hours: A schedule to be determined, offering additional opportunities for learning and growth.
Upon completing the onboarding process, you'll transition to a skill lab trainer role, working towards the I'm Possible certification. In this capacity, you will earn $20 an hour while leading skill lab sessions and assisting with basketball camps.
Enhancing player skills through both individual and group sessions.
Supporting the coaching staff in organizing training and developing strategies.
Creating engaging content for video analysis and social media platforms.
Managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of training sessions.
Engaging in marketing efforts to promote Hested Hoops within the community.
